Email, Photo, Video & Database Recovery

Sometimes the device is fine but a specific file type is damaged or missing – a corrupted Outlook data file, an Exchange database that will not mount, a video that will not play or a SQL database after a crash. We recover and repair the data itself, not just the storage it sits on.

Email Recovery

We recover and repair Outlook PST and OST files (including large and Unicode files), Apple Mail, Thunderbird, eM Client and Windows Mail stores. For businesses we recover Microsoft Exchange EDB databases from Exchange 2010 to Exchange Server Subscription Edition, and we can extract mailboxes, calendars and contacts to PST. Note that data held only in Microsoft 365 or Gmail is stored in the cloud – we can help if you have local copies or synced data on a failed device.

Photo Recovery

We recover deleted and corrupted photos from memory cards, phones, cameras, hard drives and SSDs in JPEG, HEIC, PNG, TIFF, PSD and RAW formats (CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, RAF, ORF, RW2, DNG). Where photos are partly corrupted – grey bands, half images – we can often repair them from embedded previews and file fragments.

Video Recovery and Repair

We recover and repair MP4, MOV, MXF, AVI, ProRes, BRAW, R3D and XAVC files from cameras, drones, dashcams, body cameras and CCTV DVR/NVR systems. Videos that were interrupted during recording (for example when a battery died) are often repairable.

Database and Business Data

We recover Microsoft SQL Server (MDF/NDF/LDF), MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Access, SQLite and FileMaker databases, as well as Sage, QuickBooks and Xero export data, CAD and BIM files (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) and design files (Adobe Creative Cloud).

Ransomware Recovery

If files have been encrypted by ransomware, we check for recoverable shadow copies, unencrypted fragments, backups and snapshots, and whether a public decryptor exists for the strain. Please disconnect affected devices from the network and contact us before wiping anything.
