Fujitsu Hard Drive Data Recovery
Fujitsu made 2.5-inch laptop drives and high-speed enterprise SAS drives until 2009, when its hard drive business was sold to Toshiba. Fujitsu laptop drives are still found in older laptops, external enclosures and point-of-sale systems, and Fujitsu SAS drives are still running in older servers.
Fujitsu also continues to sell PRIMERGY servers, ETERNUS storage arrays and LIFEBOOK laptops, which use drives from Seagate, Toshiba and WD. We recover data from the drives, the RAID arrays and the laptops.

Common Fujitsu Drive Faults
- Head failure causing clicking or no detection
- Firmware damage that makes the drive report the wrong capacity
- Spindle motor seizure on long-stored drives
- Failed members in RAID 5 or RAID 10 server arrays
Before you send your device – five things to avoid
- Switch the device off and leave it off – every power cycle can make physical damage worse
- Do not run CHKDSK, Disk First Aid, fsck or recovery software on a drive that clicks, beeps or is slow
- Do not open the drive or swap the circuit board – modern boards hold drive-specific adaptive data
- Do not reinstall the operating system or initialise the disk when prompted
- Keep liquid-damaged devices unpowered and bring them in as quickly as possible
